This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use trampolineassembly.co.nzand when you deal with us. It is intended to align with the transparency expectations of New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles. It is general information only and does not replace legal advice for your situation.

Who we are

The Trampoline Assembly Co is a trading name of Envelope Group Limited, a company registered in New Zealand. We assemble, relocate, and disassemble trampolines in Auckland.

What personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

Contact and identity details. Your name, email address, and phone number when you make a booking, request a quote, or contact us.

Job and location details. Your service address, the trampoline make and model, photos or descriptions you send us, access notes about your property, and the dates and times you select.

Booking and payment details. Records of the services you book, prices, invoices, and payment status. Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.

Communications. Emails, texts, and messages between you and us, including notes we make about a job.

Technical and usage information. IP address, device and browser type, referring page, and pages viewed, collected through normal website operation and analytics tools.

We aim to collect only what is reasonably necessary to quote, schedule, and carry out work, to run our website, and to meet our legal obligations.

How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and quote requests;
  • Schedule, route, and carry out bookings, including planning our crew's route between jobs;
  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and updates;
  • Take payment and issue invoices and receipts;
  • Handle questions, warranty issues, and complaints;
  • Improve our website and services, and understand aggregate usage patterns;
  • Comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our legitimate interests, for example fraud prevention and IT security, where permitted by law.

If we want to send you marketing, we will ask first, and every marketing message will include an unsubscribe option. Booking-related messages are not marketing and will still be sent.

Sharing and overseas disclosure

We may share personal information with trusted service providers who help us run the business, including:

  • Website hosting, form delivery, and analytics providers;
  • Our booking, scheduling, and customer management system;
  • Payment and accounting providers;
  • Email and messaging providers;
  • Contractors and installers who carry out work for us, limited to what they need to do the job;
  • Professional advisers, insurers, and regulators where required or reasonably necessary.

We do not sell personal information.

Some providers may store or process information outside New Zealand. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure protections comparable to New Zealand privacy law expectations, as required by the Privacy Act 2020.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse. No online transmission or storage is completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you suspect misuse.

Cookies and analytics

Our site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and to measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works, including the booking flow.

Photos of your job

We sometimes take before and after photos of a job for quality control, dispute resolution, and training. We will not publish a photo that identifies you or your property in our marketing without asking you first.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, accounting, warranty, and dispute resolution requirements, then securely delete or anonymise it where appropriate.

Access and correction

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Contact hello@trampolineassembly.co.nz. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Privacy Act 2020, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy where the law allows.
